Dealing with grief

March 15, 2015

When you’re young, there’s a quiet envy of those who have dealt with mortality. You can see it in their eyes. A depth, a wisdom, and precious skimming of life’s playlist. Where you know they survey a terrain of deeper meaning. And all this geography comes at a price–or hardened habitat?

It’s tougher in life sad we get older when others peel away, but their love does come back to us, And their shadows don’t drag us down but push us forward! But we always wish they were there with us. Yet, in a way they are. We have to settle for moving forward, turning back, and hoping and imaging their shadows applauding us!
