Life is a journey: Not!

January 26, 2014

When I first had testicular cancer it changed my life, then the second time I had it, I became a better man, and I think that’s more important.

People say life’s a journey, but that’s usually said by selfish and ambitious people that means everything around us just passes by, and we’re passing through. It’s dismissive of the outside world because it’s all about you. There’s more to life than that.

I think you do more to change the world by standing in one place and not going anywhere–that’s when you travel the furthest in the hearts of your fellow man it’s when you lean to hold your ground, and that’s the highest mountaintop with the best view.

What’s the point in planting your flag if you don’t salute it?
