Getting Depth from the Shallow world of the Big C.

February 10, 2012

I’m sitting in the chair Stanford Cancer Infusions ward receiving blood to increase my red platets. I’m listening to the Meet The Beatles album on my iPod. I divide myself into all their friends from each year of my life and we go to the globular tumor, and we dance on it and kick is sides and roll and squeeze it, breaking it down and watching it crumble the day way you would break up a sand castle and watching the grains go into my blood where my body breaks it down and reducing it into wasate. I see one-year Fred, crawling and smacking it. 17-year ofl friend bounding on its center like a trampoploine. ANd so I bring in the reinforcements with the power of someone else’s blood and the chemo.
