Bikers; my semi-gripes

December 5, 2011

I always try to watch out for bikers. But my main gripes are bikers who ride Pleasure Point are going in the opposite direction, don’t obey Stop signs, and for some reason think they have right of way over a pedestrian carrying a surfboard. Another concern is they cite they have the same rights as a vehicle, but they don;t display any identification on their bike. Plus, some pedal bikes through crosswalk areas. And another more frightening one, is parents who ride a bike and have an infant in a little carriage hooked up behind it, which in my mind is child endangerment, as well as a sign the person hasn’t learned to be an adult.
